We will be developing a web technologies-based solution for the flow of funds (FOF) analysis and visualization together with some basic financial stability analysis by using Turkish Central Bank’s (TCB) balance sheet data to track the flow of money to and from various macroeconomic sectors of Turkey. Some salient features of the project include: - Storing and retrieving data provided by TCB in a database for access at different granularity. Currently, TCB mainly provides data to be downloaded in Excel format and uses variable and column names that needs to be improved. - Should be able to retrieve, filter and explore data by visualizing it. - Should be able to perform ratio and some index calculation by using the FOF data. - Should be able to achieve scenario, sensitivity and statistical stress testing for financial stability analysis.
